Ford 8n progress report

Yesterday I added the fender mount toolbox for the left side fender to hold some tools onboard.

This toolbox I bought on https://www.dennis-carpenter.com and at the time was not aware of the three types of toolboxes. 1st one is the one in the battery box area under the hood.

2nd one is the right runing board toolbox, and the third one is the fender mount. All these I had seen in various photos online as options you could have the dealership install. So I bought the battery bay toolbox, not knowing it wasn’t the same as the fender mount. However I fashioned some mounting brackets out of some old steel strap I had laying around and some bolts and bolted it to the fender for easy tool access.

This I am proud of the ingenuity of this adaption.
